Azimuth Corporation is seeking a talented Instructor/Educator to join our Bethesda, MD area team. The ideal candidate will provide IO education and training oversight, and policy planning and development expertise in support of our government customer.

Some responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Serves as the focal point for training and education within PAI, executing tasks and analyses related to military education and training initiatives.
• Provide subject matter expert advice for Department level guidance and policy, career development, and coordinating efforts with OUSD (I&S) staff, Combatant Commands, Military Services, and Defense Agencies.
• Provide support to all aspects of the PAI community education and training council (CETC), to include establishing and documenting processes, developing supporting materials, and participating in CETC activities.
• Provide support to the development and execution of a strategic engagement plan for training and education stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain a best practice repository to support Department training and education activities, programs, and policy, providing community awareness in the form of Continuing Education Units (CEU).
• Apply expert knowledge of education and training regulations and policy to support a viable overarching force management program.
• Develop recommendations for alternatives, including changes in resource allocations or policy using analytically derived, empirically supported, and quantitative basis for decisions regarding education and training initiatives.
• Participation, possibly in both writing and review, in the bid and proposal process for Azimuth’s strategic growth portfolio.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, International Relations, Behavioral Psychology, Business Administration AND 10+ years of experience.
• 10 years’ experience in Psychological Operations, Military Deception (MILDEC), Information Operations (IO) and Joint Planning
• Active TS/SCI Clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

• Curriculum development and management experience.
• Analytic methodology and technique development experience.
• 5 years of experience as a planner at COCOM and/or Service levels, to include two years working operational employment concept development.
• Certification in education / instruction at recognized DOD schoolhouses or the equivalent
• 2 years of experience within a Joint Professional Military Education Program or Service Career Development Programs
• Possess one of the below certificates
  • OUSD(I)’s Information Environment Advanced Analysis course
  • Defense MILDEC Training Course
  • Defense OPSEC Planning Course
  • Joint Information Operations training including JIOPC, IOQC (12 week course)
  • Joint Forces Staff College (JPME Level II)
  • PSYOP Officer Qualification Course
• Possess a certification in Course Management, Curriculum Management, and the Instructional System Design Process.

Physical Requirements / Travel
• Must be able to work in an office environment at a desk and computer.
