Azimuth Corporation is seeking an experienced Principal Modeling & Simulation Engineer in support of an Air Force customer at Hill AFB, Utah. The ideal candidate will
provide expertise and assist the Government in conducting verification, validation, and accreditation of new and modified models and simulations.
Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Subject Matter Expertise level Modeling-&-Sim-engineering services
• Technical leadership of engineering team
• Incorporate unit tests for all software development efforts, and use a microservices architecture, kubernetes and containerization to the maximum extent practicable
• Employ approved Government systems to maintain capabilities to perform modeling, simulation, and analysis of the GBSD baseline and to evaluate all GBSD subsystem (i.e. guidance, ground, propulsion, reentry systems, etc.)
• Develop a verification and validation plan for all models and simulations

Minimum Qualifications

• 15 years of relevant engineering experience and a MS Degree OR 9 years of relevant engineering experience and a PhD degree
• Degree in engineering discipline
• Systems Engineering Experience and/or Certification
• 6+ yrs of progressive responsibility in providing technical leadership
• Expert in C++, MATLAB, and Simulink programming
• Knowledge of RF threat modeling
• Familiarity with AFSIM, ESAMS, JWS
• Active TS clearance. SCI eligibility may be required

Desired Qualifications

• Professional Engineering License

Physical Requirements / Travel

• Must be able to work in an office environment at a desk and computer.
• May travel ~10% to conferences, program reviews, industry meetings, or other collaborative events. Most or all travel would be CONUS.
