Azimuth Corporation is seeking a Drafting/ CAD Professional, in support of an Air Force customer in Hill AFB, Utah. The ideal candidate will be capable of using CAD software in generating detailed engineering drawings necessary to support engineering studies and reports.
Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Applies knowledge and skill in drafting methods, procedures, and techniques to illustrate or depict scientific or technical subjects and equipment.
• Develops and prepares technical drawings and illustrations of structural, mechanical, or electrical equipment, systems, and assemblies.
• Develops and produces assembly and component drawings, exploded views and schematic diagrams, may be required to compute weights, loads, dimensions, or material quantities.
• Completes project responsibilities within scope, budget and schedule.
• Participates in project meetings and conference calls as required.
• Prepares engineering documents for customer submittal.
• May be asked to provide leadership and guidance when questions arise, and review completed work for accuracy

Minimum Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant experience and a BS degree OR 2 years of relevant experience and a MS degree OR 1 year of relevant experience and a PhD degree
• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or related field
• Journeyman skill set includes ability to perform all stated/implied duties within this tier and those reasonably derived from preceding tier
• Active Secret clearance

Physical Requirements / Travel

• Must be able to work in an office environment at a desk and computer.
• May travel ~10% to conferences, program reviews, industry meetings, or other collaborative events. Most or all travel would be CONUS.
